Our Lord’s Day schedule is: Sunday School – 9:00am. Morning Worship – 10:30am. Evening Worship – 4:00pm.

Heritage Presbyterian Church, formerly known as New Braunfels OPC, is conveniently located near the intersection of I-35 Frontage Rd and Hwy 46 in New Braunfels. Heritage Presbyterian Church began as a church plant of South Austin Presbyterian Church and is now a particularized church of the OPC. This year, 2023, marks the fifth anniversary of officiated worship services of the Heritage congregation.

We are a member congregation in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. We are a vibrant part of the New Braunfels community and, through the Lord’s providence, continue to steadily add to our numbers. Read more about the mission of our church here.

FUEL FOR PRAISE AND ADORATION:There are many things that can be said and taught about Jesus's feeding the 5000 in Mark 6. Consider, for a moment, what the passage teaches us about His character. Consider His care and nurture as the Good Shepherd. 1) He had compassion on the multitude, for they were like sheep without a shepherd. 2) So, what did Jesus do? Shepherds lovingly pursue and care for the needs of the sheep. He shepherded them. He first fed them spiritually as He taught them many things (v. 34). 3) He sat them in green grass (v. 39, see also Psalm 23:2) and satisfied their physical hunger also. Our Lord cares for life and godliness, body and soul, time and eternity.4) Jesus took the little food the disciples had and miraculously made it much. Christ provides for each one of His children's needs. None are left out.5) Jesus was abundant in His provision, filling them to the full, with much bread and fish left over (v. 43, see also Psalm 23:5).Praise the great Shepherd of the sheep for His tender compassion and bountiful care! ...
